Columbus Police are investigating the city’s 23rd homicide of 2014. Investigators say a man was found dead with a gunshot wound around 11:47 Wednesday night. Muscogee County coroner Freeman Worley confirms the victim is 32 year old Chad Herring.Herring was found in the passenger seat of a silver Chevy Impala on Roosevelt Street off Buena Vista Road.
